Baby Angel

Just got back from an amazing honeymoon in Mexico. We got to scuba and I noticed a fish I couldn't ID. I believe it was a juvi angel. It was a dark blue (from what I could see) with bright light blue spots all over its body. I don't have my pictures back yet but would anyone like to give this a go?

I believe I was way off, finally found a picture that looks similar, although not exact and I must say I am disappointed to find it was a jeweled damsel or juvenile yellow tail damsel (not sure of the difference in these two as they both show the same picture... i thought they were separate fish)

Jewel damsel and yellow tail are the same fish, the difference is usually age, the juv has a clear tail and is called a jewel damsel and as it ages the tail colors up to yellow and the common name changes.

Although I saw them a few times I don't remember the clear tail, they were skittish of course and I couldn't get too close. It was on the mainland side of Cozumel, so the Caribbean Sea. We also saw a GIGANTIC Trumpet fish that I was unable to get a picture of.
