Baby Clown and Overflow

Hey Guys,

Yesterday I was at the LFS buying some salt just poking around. I found the smallest clowns I've ever seen. So, I did what any compulsive reef keeper would do... buy first... plan later.

Anyway, he's home and in the tank... all of the 1/2" of him. My existing False Percula and him are already paling around. I've been at work all day but my wife said the baby is already hosting in a large hammer I have in the tank.

Anyway, my concern is the overflow in the tank. I only have about 600gph running through my sump (rest of the flow is from nano streams). I do have the overflow teeth somewhat blocked with 1/2" egg crating but it's still plenty big enough for the clown to go through... then down to my micron filter bag on the sump.

What can I use to block the overflow that won't clog up and potentially overflow the tank?

I'll post pics when I get home.

I second the Plastic Canvas (Neddle Point Stuff). I use it for my smaller clowns and also to keep my anemones out of the overflow boxes. Cheap and effective.

I'll pick up some Canvas tonight... although he hasn't left that hammer yet.
