baby clown question

My 4 week old onyx clowns have been recently hanging out at the waters surface and was wondering if this should be a concern? Temp is stable and salinity is at 1.026. Have been eating between rotifers and cyclopeze and recently just started feeding baby brine shrimp. Any ideas?

Should be fine, is it swimming at the surface and eating?

Mine when I first got it would sleep in the top corner of my tank and lay there. A few times I thought I lost my fish or it was sick, now the little bugger swims all over.

Just monitor it and be patient, fish should be fine.

I wouldn't stress about it if they are just hanging around at the top and are still healthy. I have had a couple of batches of Ocellaris that have started swimming upside down at the surface but as soon as they go into a growout tank they orientate themselves correctly.

Just out of interest by 3 weeks old I have all my clowns onto flake food and into a 30G growout tank - much less work than a larval tank. Yours are old enough to be moved but don't net them at that age.
