baby different than mother (utter chaos)

I purchased this utter chaos almost 2 months ago as a single polyp. Now I have 2 however the baby looks different than the original polyp. Not as bright although it has all other features. Is it due to different lighting or different tank?

It might just have to grow into it. Ik when I get new sunny d polyps they're very green and then the orange comes into play a little later. Same thing with my rose nebulas they're all punk and then as they grow a little more the skirt turns greenish gold

Thanks. It's interesting. I didn't have this kind of issue with my other zoas but most of those that I bought previously were 5-7 head frags. Those that have different colors are just single polyps.

Old thread here, wondering did your Utter Chaos babies color up to look like the mother?

I'm noticing the same with my babies so I'm curious to what happened?

Mine have colored up, yes. I am no longer sure which of the 5 are the original 2.
