Caught this little bugger a few weeks ago when I was re-scapping my LR.

He is about 3/4 to 1" long with a light brown body w/ a black dot on his back. He's agressive too as he has thumped a poker I use to move stuff in his container many times...it makes me jump everytime :D .

He's definitely gotten bigger in the last few weeks. Here are two more so-so shots:

Since my tank is new I'm looking to trade this little guy for some frags. I would like to get my hands on premium zoo's, rics, colorful mushrooms, or whatever. Just let me know what you can offer either thru pm or this thread.

If you have any questions just fire away.

Thanks,
Chris

Dylan,

I believe the rock is from Fiji...I also have some tonga branch pieces in there.

PM me with an offer if you like.

This is not a baby. It is a full adult, probably Gonodactylellus affinis, an extremely common species that lives in LR generally at depths below 10 m. Maximum size is around 30 mm.

The mantis passed away today :( .

Even though they often do harm to your tank it was pretty sad.
