Baby peppermint shrimp

I was surprised to find about 20 baby peppermint shrimp in my tank this afternoon. What are the chances that they will survive to become adults? I currently have 1 tomato clown, 1 scopa tang, 2 blue devil damsels, yellow choris wrasse, scissor tail goby and 2 chromis in a 56 gallon tank.

Can you definitively ID them as pepermints? Are you sure they aren't mysis?
I've had thousands of hatchling ornamental shrimp in my tanks over the years and not one of them survived more than a day. Even with me putting them in a nursery.
When they first hatch they are so small you need a magnifying glass see any detail. They look like stick figures.

I agree, chances are better that you're seeing Mysid shrimp, they're very common in our systems. Note, they are Mysid, not Mysis. Mysis are fresh water shrimp that many of us feed to our fish ;)
