I have a pair of Reidi, with the male looking to be carrying fry. Plump in the pouch area, and pacing pacing pacing. I've put him in a quarentine tank, with a few perching items and a sponge airstone running. I've got some brine eggs cycling through the hatching process, 3 batches started on different days to have a supply of fresh hatches for when the fry come.

Does anyone else have any experience/suggestions in trying to raise the fry? I know they're tough, and while I want to try my best, I expect my first attempts to likely not be too fruitful. Thank you.

At my work we try to raise them. We start them out eating roitifers for about a week with a little bit if newly hatched brine.

For my reidi fry, I use greenwater in the nursery and keep them lit 24/7.
I add rotifers and don't remove any, adding more if needed, and change the water in each jar every 48 hrs with new greenwater and new rotifers.
After 2 weeks, I start adding gut loaded 2 day old bbs as well as the rotifers.
After 4 weeks, I stop using the rotifers and just use the gut loaded 2 day old bbs.
Still, I keep doing a complete water change every two days.
As the fry grow, I grow out the brine shrimp to larger size and again gut load them before feeding to the fry. Also I start to introduce frozen foods to them.
