Baby Todds Torch

Bowels

Hey my friend gave me a little todds torch head that was growing on the side of his cluster.

My question is this: I would like to do ANYTHING to keep this cute little coral alive and happy. If anyone has any tips on what their todds likes please chime in :) Id much appreciate it.

It seems healthy and within 6 hours or so was plumping up his tentacles and looking like a torch should. Here is a picture of the lil guy under 2x purple t5s and 2x blue t5s, I have a powerhead behind where he is and blowing towards the glass in front of him, so the flow hits the glass goes down and kind of circles up at him (I hear torches and many LPS like flow from underneath) and the flow is on for 30 seconds then off for 30 seconds. I have two koralias (550, 450) attached to a smart wave.

Yes, give it good flow in multiple directions and you can also spot feed it mysis. Hope the chalice is settling in nicely.

indirect flow works best for these guys! I feed chop up raw shirmp meat to my torchs and hammers. They grew so fast! it was like yesterday when they were still very tiny.... I feel so old now........

Thanks guys! And Joseph The chalice is looking great, I fed it oyster juice (something like that) its colors are great and it seems to be growing already off the frag, guess it likes my MHO :)

Ive found my torch does best with moderate flow. The tentacles wave nicely and it looks pretty cool in the tank.
Ive fed mine coral frenzy a couple times and I dont know if this food had anything to do with it, but it exploded in growth.

unfortunatly guys, I came home from work yesterday, and the entire coral was covered in Brown Jelly :( I took it out and gave it a nice little coral dip bath, and put it back in the tank, in a low flow low light area, and this morning I woke up and it was covered in brown jeely again.
