Baby Turbo Snails

Has anyone successfully had turbo snails breed in their tank? I keep finding tiny snails in my tank that closely resemble turbo snails and I am just wondering if I need to do anything special to keep them alive.

They probably are Turbos, sort of. They are most likely Collonista or Homalopoma species, which are in the Turbo family, and look like tiny Turbos but never get larger than about a quarter of an inch in width. They perform pretty much the same function as larger Turbo species, except that they can reach tighter places. They reproduce fairly often in reef tanks.

Cheers,

Don

Bit of an update, one little guy has made it to nearly 3/8" to 1/2" and still seems to be growing. I'll try to get a good pic the next time I see him.

OK, So I finally took what I thought was the perfect picture. That was until I took it off the camera. With that being said, this picture is for documentation purposes only. Baby nuzzles mama.....
