Baby Turbo snails

Is it viable that I would have baby turbos in my tank? When the halides go off, there are hundreds of these little snails that look just like turbos. They are about the size of a grape seed and they are everywhere. Strange thing is I don't see many adult turbos anymore. Anybody have similar experience?

Iv never seen that befor I would love to have some turbos I have 1 and that's all i have my triger killed them all when he was in the reef tanl dumb me for doing that.

They aren't baby turbo snails, however they're often referred to as "mini turbos". They're Collonista Snails, and that's about as big as they get.

They're harmless scavengers that usually only come out to graze at night.

Where would they come from? I have never seen them in my tank before and suddenly, there were hundreds of them all at once. Maybe I got them from a frag from someone. Anyone else have any of these?

You may have got them from what i gave you i have some little snails in my fuge but i cant see that they are doing eney thing bad to the frag that i have in the fuge.

I also have a lot. They have been in there awhile and like Darkness said they aren't getting any bigger

Yeah mine just kinda appeared overnight just like you. They are not out of control so I'm not to concerned. Actually kinda nice to have!
