Back at it again

I removed one last rock and redid the scape to get more room on the sandbed for my plans for acan and ric colonies.

I bought a new clam and a nice acan, and moved some of the corals around.

The RKL is all set up and has been great so far, and the rest of the led supplies will be in this week. Then I'll be able to put the led lights over the tank, which I'm real excited for.
I also picked up goniopora and rainbow favia frags from my lfs. Now it's just playing the waiting game until the FFM, where I will hopefully score some nice rics.

That's so weird -- I just picked up two frags when I was out yesterday, and they were the same as you. Goniopora and Favia. Love the colors on your goniopora. Mine is more of a purple/mauve

I still love that favia. I cant believe the amount of different colors that are on that piece. Tank looks great.

So, these led's are awesome! I love having the sunrise and sunset back; my metal halide obviously couldn't do it. I have nightlights from the ALC I will attach to the heat sink, also.

I'm starting to try out some sps, too. I got a montipora confusa from Bob, and when chriskid put some frags up for sale yesterday I had to jump on them. They are amazing and hopefully they all do well. I got two birdsnests, a pokerstar monti, and a tri-color stag. Don't mind the washed-out pictures, they're from my phone so the white-balance isn't too great. Anyways, I'm real excited to see the (hopeful) growth under the new lights.

Also, I now have 5 growing heads on the green acan on the left, and 2 growing on the grey/red acan on the right. Happy about that

Can't wait to get my rics at ffm; may have to snag an sps frag or two, as well.

Thanks Bob, everything seems to be responding well to them so far. I got my hanna checkers for calcium, alkalinity, and phosphates and everything is right in check.

Well, thanks to the FFM, my tank is stocked enough (maybe overstocked ha) with corals to let everything just grow out. I picked up a purple monster, tyree ice fire, ora pearlberry, and ora blue tennis from anthony, 3 other sps frags, and a derasa clam. Pretty excited to see things grow out, as I've seen good growth in less than 3 weeks from the frags I got from chriskid. My green birdsnest is already starting to branch (both branches) and the other birdsnest and tri-color acro are growing, as well. Pretty excited
