Finally got this little guy yesterday. He had been at the fish store for a couple weeks, and probably wasn't eating much in that time, but has been hunting for pods since I put him in my tank. I had seeded it a month ago, and have more harvesting in another tank. He is getting used to the tank and moving about more today than he was yesterday. I'm very excited to have him/her finally.

If it was a male the front top fin would be a lot bigger and have a long spin in the front of the fin very pretty colors on her though

Np my male chases my female every time I turn my powerheads off to feed them they do there mating dance but still havnt layed anything yet but they are awesome fish to watch just watch there stomachs. If they are not eating enough when you look at there belly it will only suck in from the bottom so the sides will look normal but then you see there undersides and it looks like there sucking there tummy in just keep a eye out for that mine eat everything the female looks like she's going to explode she's so fat

Good to know. Mine looks plump, as well. She's eating nutramar ova and flake food, and picks pods all day. I Just ordered a ton more pods and am harvesting half in my old tank. Wanna make sure she has enough
