Back from the dead...

Hey folks! Guess who's back?

Well, sorta...back long enough to let the general populace know that I've finally dealt with the fact that I don't have enough free time for this hobby.

I've got this Aquapod 12G that's currently set up with just a couple of snails in it. I wish I could say that it was full of life, but at the current time, I'm only harboring a few anemones (tulip anemones...at least they're marginally pretty) and the snails. It's about 8-10 months old, and hasn't malfunctioned once. It's in good shape, and I haven't had any problems with it. 12-15 pounds of live rock, a medium sandbed, etc.

It's a great little tank, and I wish that I had the time to care for it and stock it like I should...but I don't.

Anyone interested in it? Send me a back-channel message and let's talk. I'm sure that someone needs a Christmas present for their bedroom/office/etc. Let me know!

I think I may have an option, lllosingit, for something you might be able to do at your girlfriend's place to avoid boredom. I also have some idea why you may be "lllosingit".

My suggestion, of course, is a friendly game of checkers.

Think about 6 females all in the same house...Joy Joy Joy
I almost changed my screen name to LOST_IT

not trying to hijack the thread, if he doesnt want the tank I may.. depends if I get this promotion!

John and Wes, PMs sent.

I'll plan on taking and posting pictures tonight when I'm home from the office. I'm guessing it'll probably be 9-ish before I get home and get it done, though.

Thanks for your patience, all!

Looking for $160 for it...

Looking for $160 for it...

Argh...sorry it took me so long to get back to this thread. These 60 hour weeks are killing me.

The first $160 takes it. Send me a back-channel communication! For the record, you can pick it up tomorrow if you'd like.

Okay...no takers at $160.

How 'bout $140, including a box of Catalina water (unopened)?

I'll be here most of the weekend, so if someone wants to jump on a weekend project for the new year, I'm happy to oblige.

Heading downstairs to take pictures as we speak.

As promised, here's a couple of pictures of the basket-case...:(

Give it a good home, someone!

Just curious-

What's the lighting with this nano? 2x27 current?

I assume wet/dry filter in the back?

Is this tank all glass or is the bottom plastic? I'm thinking of a nano upstairs and eventually plumbing it into my main system :D

Does it have a heater?

Any unwanted critters (i.e. aptasia) in this tank?

Condition of glass/overall tank (scratches)?

Just trying to justify a fair offer as these are $136 w/out rock/sand.

It's for the wife, I'll discuss it with her this afternoon!

Thanks!

Holy moley! When did these things get so cheap?

Yes...2x27 lighting, twin blue LEDs. Three switches on top, wet dry filter in the back.

Glass on the bottom.

It does NOT have a heater, but I will tell you that from personal experience, this tank runs warm enough that you don't need one.

Condition of tank is excellent...no scratches on the glass that I'm aware of.

The live rock does have some tulip anemones, but I have not seen any aiptasia. Live rock has sprouted a little hair algae, but nothing that some time in a main system with solid water quality wouldn't cure.

This just goes to show how out of the loop I am/was with the pricetag on these tanks. I thought that they were still going for $200 like I paid!

What a moron I must sound like! :)

Oh well...no different than any other day. Just ask my wife!
