Back in the Saddle Again!! My new 480g In-Wall thread

Well, the tank should be arriving at the terminal this afternoon and I will be trailering it home from Dallas to my house her in Rockwall. I finally got a chance to do some more work on the fish room. The outside is basically done, all of the moldings and trim and also the front hatch is complete. Here is the sketch from the first page of this thread.

I must first thank my wife for putting up with my mess and the patience to see me rip a hole in our new house. I am having some of my friends from work come by Sat. to help lift the tank onto the stand. The tank has 2 2'' drains 2 1 1/2" bulkheads also in the overflow and also two 1 1/2" holes in the rear panel for a closed loop. I will be using my seq 5800seq23 for my return and pushing it back into the tank through my 8way oceans motion. And lastly but not least I have four streams that will be helping puch the flow back and forth. I will post some pics once the tank arrives and I know I must have the required kids in the tank shot, I am just wondering if I can shove my whole family in it!!!

I'm going to show this thread to my wife in hopes that one day I can entice her into saying OK to a project like this!

wow, that thing is monster. Brent, i know you're busy but you never answer any of my pm's

Besides being busy, I just don't like you!!!! j/k!!
I will call you right now.
Brent
Chuck,
It's not as long as your bad boy......

Holy moly, Brent! You did a great job. That's going to look amazing when you start filling it up with rock and corals.

When I picture my dream tank it's very similar -- the same deep square, except taller (for the fishies to swim in) and open on 3 sides -- guess I gotta buy a bigger house to put it in first!

Now this is what I would call a simply awesome tank. I think your overflow holds more water volume than my tank at home :eek2: I wished my wife is as understanding as yours. Maybe I need to take a lesson or two from you on how to convince the BOSS to let me have a massive tank like yours :D

Can't wait to see more pix

Man that thing is a monster! Are you going to paint the back and sides black or blue or are you going to leave them clear?
