After Years and years of keeping reef tanks, I am burned out. I wanted to get back into something more specialized and focused. I decided to get back into seahorses. I have kept seahorses years ago but much has changed since I kept them.
I originally set up this 34 gallon solana as a specialized SPS tank. After construction I realized this was going to be the same as all my othe sps tanks. So I decded to take it in a new direction.
I have a build thread in the nano tank forums but will recap it here.
Tank : 34 Gallon Current Solana
Lighting: AI Sol Blue LED
Chiller: JBJ 1/15hp mini chiller
Controller : Apex
Dosing Pump : Bubble Magus T-01
ATO: Tunze Osmolator
Skimmer : JNS/Aquamaxx HOB
Substrate : Seafloor special mixed with seafloor puka shell
Decor: Tetra Water Wonders Corkscrew Val
As of now I do not think I need the doser unless I can dose something that is beneficial to the seahorses.
Here are some pics, enjoy.....
Any and all feedback is appreciated.....
