Hello all, this is my first post on the site so hopefully this is in the right place.
I have decided to get back into the scene after coming home from work one day to find my 30gal all over my floor, I'm not sure what happened but there was a hole about the size of a .50 cent pc about 6 in from the bottom, almost a complete loss, this was on a 4 month old system so I'm still a newbie on SW setups.
I have been out of the game for awhile and was wondering if you guys could give me input on a tank and lights that would be great!
As for the tank, i have been looking for a rimless square type, but everything I have come across has a closed system, being that the overflow and return are all together in the show tank if that makes sense? I already have a 10 gal that will be designated for a sump
My next question is what are you guys using for lights on your setups? I am nervous about using a MH because of the heat transfer on such a small system but am not sure about LED capibilities? I plan on mostly doing soft corals and possibly a clam.
Thanks for any input!
