Well.......... I didnt really document my tank crash because I was stressin enough as it was because I was preparing to get married and the stress from that was enough as it was, but I guess I can go into detail a little bit. About 2 months ago something happened, what I still dont know, there are 3 possibles I can think of that led to an ammonia spike, either a flat worm die off, which I had been battling with those guys, I stuck my hand in with remnants of hand sanitizer, or I had been using a trace elements product from Kent, I dont know if it was good or bad for the tank, but anyways. I lost all my fish, 2 clowns, purple dottyback and a bangai cardinal, also my skunk cleaner shrimp and some of my white xenia.
Well now everything is back up, fish back in, shirmp back in. I have 2 osc.clowns, 3 blue/green chromis and a skunk cleaner shrimp. Luckily my Candy Cane coral, some xenia and zoas made it through it all. Im really excited with my clowns that I just picked up this last Saturday from Marine Dreams in Bradenton. It has only been a few days and they have already hosted in my CCC which didnt happen with my last pair of clowns. I dont know if this is correct of me to assume but my last pair was tank raised and these clowns are supposidly wild caught. My last pair was unexciting to say the least, they stayed in the same top left back corner of my tank, didnt swim around at all, so im excited for the little guys. Anyways, enough talkin, ill post some pics.
