Backstage at the Steinhart Aquarium

So last weekend at the superbowl party I was at I happened to meet the guy who runs the mechanical side of the Steinhart Aquarium. He offered me a backstage tour and I'm working on getting that same offer extended to the entire club as a field trip! I'm pretty sure it will be a go, I just need final authorization.
 
Hey guys, I met some of you before. FYI - I work as a volunteer there on Saturdays mornings on the reef side and I can show you guys around too ( if you go on a day I am working). Tom knows me from BAR. I attended one of you tanks tours a few years back.
 
Jake, thanks so much for setting this up. It was pretty awesome! Here's a pic of the two story skimmer. Note the instant ocean bucket on the right for size perspective.

Thanks to Jake and his buddy for a great time. My friends and I totally the tour. Saw a new species of shark, lots of baby jellies and the biggest skimmer I have ever seen(Thanks Ben).

Thx Ben and Craig for posting the pics if you have any more I and I'm sure everybody that couldnt make it would love to see them. Some of us DO have to work for a living;)
