Bacterial supplements for cycling

Hi all, not so much a question but a "for the record" for anyone else facing a similar situation. My Nanocube 28 is leaking somewhere from the underneath and the legs of the stand are pushing into the particle-board platform causing the tank to slowly but progressively tilt forwards. Clearly this is not a very good situation but a good excuse to set up a 60 gallon tank.

Normally I would exercise patience and let the new tank cycle over a couple of months but with impending disaster, it needs to be ready quite quickly for my fish and softies. Set the tank up with home-made acrylic partition as an AIO like the NC28 (details if anyone is interested but maybe I'll add sump later), added 60 lb Marco sand/50 lb marco rock and a few pieces of live rock and some live sand from the old tank. Dosed to 2ppm free ammonium with home-made ammonium chloride and added a bottle of Dr. Tim's One and Only. Week later, ammonia still 2ppm, no nitrite. Added Seachem Stability - no change. After 2 weeks of ammonia @ 2ppm and no nitrite, added a bottle of Instant Ocean Bio-Spira. Overnight, ammonia is down to 0.5ppm, nitrite is 1 ppm. Cycling underway and hopefully will be fast before the NC28 slips onto the floor!

Post is not meant to endorse any particular product as its possible that the other Dr. Tim's and Seachem Stability (all from Amazon) may have been dead but I said, this was my experience for the record. Cheers!

I wonder if you got an old bottle. I needed to cycle some rock in an emergency situation about a year and a half ago and had a complete cycle in less than three days with Dr. Tim's One and Only.
