Bad grasses?

Looks like hair algae. Nutrient levels are too high. Check Poshphates and Nitrates. Use RO/DI water if you are not already. If the tank is big enough, a yellow tang or foxface lo will make short work of it. Other than that, you'll just have to ride it out.
 
I have those and they don't look like hair algae. Tang and snail don't eat them. They grow super fast. Remove them asap ...
 
Bryopsis in my opinion.

Tough to remove, best suggestion is to scrub the rock really well with a hard bristle brush.

thanks for the comments. I've pulled the grasses and will keep a close look on them. If they begin to grow out of control, I'll try more drastic measures.

no i tore them mostly out and not much growth since then
