bad luck

well with the good news of a baby on the way i guess i was due some bad luck. i had a massive rtn of about 75%of my sps's. does the tank not know i can't afford to restock it anytime soon. well this is the first time such an event has happened to me. oh well atleast most everyone around here has a piece of what i had. in due time i may restock it with small frags once again.

yeah i fragged a few that were not total loses but my blue tort and tri color could not be saved.

no idea what caused it. all parameters are in line. from what i know there is no real answer to the cause of rtn. it seams to be all my acros that got it. the millis are doing fine. i had something like this happen once with all my monties.

What about heat? Yesterday was a humdinger.

never got above 80* in the tank. i do have the chiller running now with the fans so it keeps in cool. no big deal i was thinking of turning the tank into all lps and using the 28 nano for sps's we will see.

that sucks. a few years ago I had my 50 gallon hooked up with about $3,000.00 worth of live corals and fish. My wife and daughter decided to suprise me for fathers day and bought me a few more fish from a pet store in northern, va by our house. They put the new fish in the tank while I was working with the water they were bagged in. They introduced everything to a huge out break of ich and I don't know what else. It killed almost 20 fish! it was bad. I even lost alot of the corals etc. I was devastated. I never let my wife and daughter know that's where it all came from though.
