To me, my old nano was as much work as my 150g. Once you have a big tank up and running, it's not any more work than a small tank. Just a bit larger water changes. Tank maintenance is the same for all sizes, even if I had a nano, I would have to do water changes, scrape the glass, feed the fish, measure water parameters, etc. etc. I just don't have the time right now sadly....
