Well I woke up today to my 95g tank seal split open on the back side of the tank and lost 90% of the water. Lost my show clown fish and corals.but got lucky that was about one inch of water left in the tank and my other ten fish made it and Want to thank RC for taking them in for me at a short notice. I plan on rebuilding a new tank in a month or so. Will be posting some of the equipment up for sale later this week

Yikes, Thanks for scaring me. I just bought a leemar. :-(

Sorry to hear about your loss. It's a bad feeling for sure.

OHHH MY SADNESS!!! Any loss of a full tank is heartbreaking and sooo frusterating (and that is not to ignore the cost involved). When you are ready to rebuild, I will find something in my tank to share!!! I don't have anything crazy cool, but I will share what I can! I had a total loss and if it wasn't for this FRAG community, I woudn't have anything in my tank today! I am sitting in front of my tank now, admiring the donations ... they are pretty much all I have because a rebuild wasn't in the budget! Forever thankful for all of these pieces so I would REALLY like to share when you are ready!!! Just PM me then.

What did you have for a stand? How flat/level was it?

Often times seal failures are a result of the stand, not the tank itself. I'd hate for you to put a new tank back on top of the possible old problem!

I build the stand and it was all level and square.Tank was flat and level on stand. Go with a smaller tank again.

It was a used leemar tank. I think it was about 3 to 4 years old but not a 100% sure.

That really stinks to hear. When you pull the sand out Lee Mar places a mfg date sticker in the back right corner. I would like to know the age as well. Another question would be, have you been using the way mode on those WP 40's? I know Vortech (MP40's) warns of tank failure when using the wave function. Were you using the wave function on the WP's?

running the wp-40 on else mod for past 4 months and all try look for a lee-mar mfg date sticker. I know Lee mar build the tank due to the sticker on the bottom Saying made by Lee mars

If you had any corals from me let me know. I would be happy to replace what I can. Sorry for the loss. Jeff

What a nightmare! Hope your house is ok? 95g is a lot of water!!
I got luck that my tank is in a spare bed room. that turn into my fish room and floor is cement and I had a drain put in the middle of the room. so most of the water went down the drain
