Hey guys, I'm really not that new to the hobby, but I am having a diffucult time with a two of my new additions. One is a 29 which I will post pics of and the other a 75. I got some fiji liverock in that I cured seperately in a rubbermaid with a decent skimmer for approx. 1.5 months. The tests come up pretty good and I added it to these to tanks. The 29 is full of black cyno or which I think is cyno and the 75 has the red type. The 29's levels are great: 0 phospate, 0 ammonia, 0 nitrate/nitrite, higher calcium level, 9/10 dkh, and the ph is bouncing between 8.1 - 8.4
There is a phos reactor running with a 8th of the suggested amount of media and a bak pak skimmer running and a hob filter for carbon.
The 75 is close to the same expect there always is a touch of nitrate- maybe 5 ppm at most, and the skimmer is much larger.
Salinity is 1.025 too on both tanks. Both tanks are getting good water changes (10%)about every four days.
