Bad Split?

A few days ago out GBTA split. We had one really happy/healthy specimen and one not-so-much. We weren't too worried, because that can be common. Today I noticed that they are both unhappy, one is pulled completely inside itself and the other is looking like it is about to die(this is the one that seemed bad right after the split) I'm wondering if it was a bad split, if there is such a thing.

Is there anything I can do to ease their stress post-split besides water changes and target feeding mysis?

THANKS!
Jennifer

You should probably wait a while before trying to target feed...they need time for their mouths to heal up.

One good thing to do after a split is a water change. Don't feed. The quickest my splits have eaten is 5 days. Remeber it splits through the mouth and belly and has to close up again. Some can look miserable for 2wks, as long as there is a good difference between day and night behavior it is likely heeling. One of my clones still looks drastically different than the rest but is 8months old. Current seems to help as well. I don't know if it helps carry away stuff or brings oxygen , but mine seem to appreciate it.
