Bad wire

I noticed that one of the streams in my 190 was not working. I tracked it down to the cable between the multicontroller and the box connected to the pump. Where can I find a replacement cable? Also, any clues as to why a cable might have suddenly stopped working after several months? Thanks!

These are called DIN cable and can be purchased from an electronics DIY store here in OZ one of the common is Dick Smiths not sure what the popular stores are in the USA are I am sure someone else besides could suggest
The failure could be moisture.

Usually salt creep or water ruins the cords. It is sold in the US as a DIN cable or MIDI cable, you can buy them at Radio Shack.
