bad worm!

So I've seen this worm before hanging around my rhodactis. Its long and white, not a bristle worm. Rather skinny.

Anyways, as I've said I've seen it hanging around the shroom before, but today, I noticed that it was actually eating a bit of it! It was white, then slowly it started turning green, then my rhodactis closed up in response to get away from it. So I sucked it up and took threw it in the canister filter.

It looked like it had a three barbed mouth or butt.... anyone know what it is?

It might have been a polychaete in the family Syllidae. There are a few species that are known to eat softies. If you have the bad luck to get another one take some photos of it or better yet, send to me so I can make a id.

Yeah, I was so mad at it I just wanted to get rid of it immediately.... I shoulda snapped a pic of the culprit. :hmm4:
