baffles in a sump

Why? I don't get micro bubbles back into my tank. So why do I need baffles in my sump/refuge?

There is a few different reasons for adding baffles to a sump. One being a way to reduce micro bubbles. Another reason is so you can keep a consistent water level to certain pieces of equipment like your skimmer
