bakpak w/mj1200 - too much flow for a 15g??

I'm setting up a 15g (24x12x12) w/southdown sand bed (1.5 inches) that will house my acans, zoos and a few other corals, probably a pair of black oscellaris clowns (or somehting similar). I have a bakpak w/maxijet 1200 sitting in my closet that I have never used. I have other reefs so I know what the standard flow a maxijet 1200 produces.

Will the outflow of the skimmer produce too much flow for this setup?
