ballast advice

Just purchased a 36" maristar 2x250w HQI Halide plus 2 39w t5 light. I also got two 250w IceCap electronic ballast plus a BlueWave 7 dual 250w that I believe is a magnetic ballast. I have the Phoenix 14k metal halide bulbs and am wondering which ballast would be better to run these bulbs.

Either will run them, but the blue wave 7 is the best ballast. It is a magnetic hqi ballast, aka ANSI M80. It is the ballast recommended for the Phoenix
