Just wondering if anyone has any idea, opinions, reports on these ballasts.
175watt Blueline E ballasts
I am looming at buying them but just nit sure if they are with it or not or if they are a good product. Any ideas let me know.

Thanks,
Justin

Very few people use 175 watt unless you have a shallow tank. Any tank 24" or more needs 250watt bulbs to penetrate to the lower part of the tank. Unless you never plan on having SPS I would not buy these. JMHO

I agree with Bill...but if you are set on the 175's I would go with Iwasaki bulbs 15k....Heard they were the best 175w bulb on the market.

Well those are the bulbs I am using cause I am buying titans fans 65 gallon tank. So I am just trying to find a ballast that will work with them.

So you are the one that got my bulbs....LOL

I will be using the same bulbs on my 75g.

If you do not mind a little more electricity use I would run them on a magnetic ballast...they actually put out more watts on a mag ballast....around 189w.

Cool titansfan that is the one that i use as it is on my tank. I was already looking at buying another one so I just went ahead and bought one At least with this I know what I am getting myself into.

My geisman fixture came with HQI magnetic ballasts. I like the output but the buzzing sound can sometimes get annoying. Electronic ballast are so much more efficient and quiet.
