my 3 incher from pia was only slightly more...
I wont compare that one to the dd as it was in kk's office tank for 3 months...and I knew the care it was getting..worth paying a bit more for that...
 
up here in canada, they used to be about 400 bucks, I got mine for 450 cause it was small, about 3.5"

but now the new ones coming in are all $1000.

I wanted a wife for my boy :( lol
 
Thanks for all the help everyone. The owner at the inland reef let me put a deposit on the joc. I can't let my wife know how much she costs but I'm super happy with the fish can't wait to get her home. I took my kids up to see it tonight and they said they wanted the candy basslet instead so I guess that's going to be the next addition

congrats! a great fish...
 
I know that feeling...glad I have a tank big enough for two...they can be very aggressive towards each other...they are both currently in my 125 qt with a mated Flameback pair and a ton of small pvc pieces...don't see them bothering each other mainly due to the fact that they are both trying to avoind the flamebacks...

If I do say so you have great taste in fish they all look great and your display must be the one of the sickest in the country

Thanks again, the tank is getting there...I need to get the lights running...
My plan is to get all the fish out of the 2 qt in early June and add to the dt...
I will be adding some more rock to...eventually some corals will go in...

There is one more fish that will be coming in, soon, I hope...
This is a very special fish and I hope things work out as planned, we shall see...
