Bandit angel

I really don't know the guy at the inland reef put him through his qt and the second day in my qt he got what I think was tail rot or something. But the owner of the shop is going to find me two more little guys and ill try again. He said he would give me my money back also but I told him I'd rather have a new fish the jocs are starting to be one of my favorites. So I'm going to try a pair of jocs and a pair of Colin's. I know I know I'm shouldn't keep that many angels in one tank but where there's a will there is a way

sorry about that but hope you can find a replacement...how big is your tank and what is in it? depending on tank size keeping multiple angels is very doable...

Yea it's on my must have list I change what I want like 3 times a day the owner if the inland reef is super cool and so knowledgeable and is pushing me to do a Colin's a multibar a interruptus and a joc. With that being said that is one of the best lists I could do but not 100% sure I could pull it off.

It's a 48 gallon reef octopus and I'm really only interested in keeping angels and coral but I'm sure my kids will talk me into a pair of clowns. The joc was going to be the first fish to go in the system

he is recommending that list? I would be hesitant to add a multi with a interrupta and joc...

you cannot keep these fish in a 48 gallon tank...the jocs will kill each other and it is too small for a bandit or interrupta even if one was the only fish in the tank...

this was a recommended stock list for a 48 gal from inland?:sad2::sad2:

I think I said that I can't remember I call him 5 times a day asking about different fish and I think I'm getting on his last nerve. I've had a multibar before got her from the dd and didn't like how shy she was so I'm not to into the multi. I think at this point he'll tell me anything to get me off the phone or our of his store

No he says I need a 125 at least to more than one dwarf but I'm not a good listener so we will see what happens. I'm going to try to listen but with my wife telling me I can't have a bigger tank I'm either going to set up another tank or pray for the best

You can only do at most 1 dwarf angel in your 48. I know how you feel on wanting those beautiful angels but understand they can get very aggressive in a small tank. Once you get that big tank one day, they can be house together and get along because I have most of those on your list play nice for 6+ months so far.

be great to get a bigger tank and keep the 48 as a qt...

Sickfish704- Let me preface this by stating that I don't know anything about you personally or how long you have been in this hobby. I have successfully kept many of the same angels that humaguy and SD have for the almost 13 years I have been in this hobby. You have already mentioned that you lost a Joc, which is not a cheap fish by any means. Now you mention you are looking to drop some additional serious coin on some beautiful and costly specimens to cramp into a 48 gallon tank? I had to reread that a couple of times, and question if that post was serious. The amount of money wasted on the fish listed, that will not survive together in that size of a tank for that matter, could be better used to just buy a bigger tank!!! If you have the funds for these fish, have Inland Reef order you at least a 150 or 180 gallon...Also, my wife has told me numerous times not to get a bigger tank ;)

BTW, I have dealt with Inland in the past and I find it hard to believe the owner is telling you to put that mix of angels in a 48 gallon...Out of the angels you listed, the Colini was the hardest fish I have ever kept. It took everything to get it to eat.
