Bang for the $ external recirc?

Still looking for a recirc external for my FOWLR (custom tank comes out to about 60-70g total volume) but once again am at a limited budget. I looked at the EV-120's and though I know these skimmers work well, having to run a large pump to feed it is a nuisance.

there is in fact only 1 skimmer I have come across that fits what I need in my range and it's the Octopus DNW-110 recirc for $175. And that is still more money that I have to spend on that tank since there are so many things for my 90g I keep buying.

Any recommendations would be much appreciated.

I have a AquaC-EV90 very similar to EV120, I am asking $150 with the rio 1700 pump or $125 without the pump. If you are interested.

Thing one skimmer that looks amazing but can't find it is the Bubble-Magus BM160. Comes with an aqua-bee for goodness sake. Is there anything that competes?

There is the RPS-135 by AquaEuro USA but don't know how good they are.

Can anyone chime in here? Or is an EV120 or similar a better bet?

Try and get a DAS EX-1. The DAS Range are awesome and great value. I got a DAS EX2 for a good price 2nd hand on the for sale forums.

Second on the DAS. Great bang for the buck, and I've seen the EX-1 used around here for as little as $120...

I've been looking for one, in fact there is a local guy well 90 miles, but anyhow. He says he doesn't think his will work externally. Don't know if it's leaking or what
