Over the last year i have had 7 Bangai Cardinals. All of them have died all of them the same way. First they a ferocious eaters. Then 1-2 weeks later they stop eating. Then i notice white stringy poop. while they fail to eat and hide. Then one day ill find them unable to swim against the current and gasping for air towards the bottom of the tank. Next day they are dead.
4 of the 7 were tank raised.
My params are good. 0 across the board. I have a swc skimmer tons of live rock, vortechs, cheato, pods, shrimps, crabs, stars, worms, softies, lps, bta and about 10 other fish. All doing well. But i cant keep a bangai cardinal alive for the life of me.
Any ideas. The only thing i can think of is that im being lied to and the Cards arent tank raised. If thats they case that sucks cause i buy from a reputable store in NYC who's name i wont mention since there is no way to tell.
Anyone have any ideas?
