Bangai Cardinals in Anemone

I recently added a group of these guys to my tank. Immediately my Vlamingi tang tried to eat them, taking one of the tails completely off. I managed to keep the tang away long enough for them all to hide in the rock work. I was up this morning and they are sharing my RTBA with my clowns.

Didn't know these guys would do that. Also very interesting how the clown, who is normally 'get away from my home' has just let them in.

They do that in the wild too. I've seen one of my females actually sleeping in a malu.

BTW, you will likely end up with just a pair once they reach maturity.
I added 2 males and a female to a QT and hoped it would be OK for the QT period before I would be able to move the extra male to my single female. Unfortunately it didn't go well for long - the female paired up with one male and together they killed the extra before I could intervene.

I have heard the fighting/pairing is something that occurs. I was hoping in my 180 there would enough room for them to split off.
