Bangaii Cardinals Question.

Anybody here have any experience breeding these fish, possibly able to help determine weather my new pair is male/female or same sex?

Sexing Bangaii Cardinals is very difficult, but can be done. Most P. kaudernii that come in to the LFS are not sexually mature yet, so the defining characteristics aren't apparent yet. Here are some helpful link(s) to keep you company. Grab some popcorn and read all that you can. Also, check with Dr. Frank Marini here on Reef Central and the Marine Depot forums.

FWIW, when (and if) I get my black and white tank running, I'll attempt to breed P. kaudernii as well. I'll let you know my luck.

Which you probably will :thumbsup: But I bet my Black and White Ocellaris might breed before yours

If you get the black and white ocellaris to breed and succesfully raise the young, I want dibs on a pair. =o)

At the current time, I'll just give you the eggs and water and let you take the responsibility of raising them
