Bare Bottom or DSB?

A small layer of sand 1" will look nice and will not have an anoxic area to allow anaerobic bacteria to colonize. Your gobies and sandsifting critters will do a great job keeping the sand in check.

So will this eliminate the bad things about a DSB in my tank, and will a good cleanup crew take care of the sand?

This is what i was trying to say.. Thank you!! You dont have to have a DSB in the display..
