bare bottom

hello i live in ontario canada and canott find starboard. i want a bearbottom reef and also want at least 1 tower but without something on the bottom i am very scared. has anyone used other things to cover the tank bottom and if so what. if i cannot find anything i will have to use aggregate. thanx for any help

You can use acrylic, or anything for that mater. Cutting board is just made to take abuse. Your just trying to protect the bottom of the tank from scratches and provided added protection if an avalanch occures.
