I added about five 20lb bags of the following. I have use the Caribsea sand in my other tank, and I love it. My other sand clumped together really badly. I was picking up clumps that were the size of my fist.

Fiji Pink - This soft pink colored (It's not pink. It's white in color.), 100% aragonite substrate is a good intermediate sand size product. The precise 0.5 - 1.5mm grain size combines some of the animal friendly properties of fine sand such as ingestability and low resistance to burrowing, but with better diffusive flux properties and good porosity. This is also the standard choice for reef aquariums at 1 pound per gallon. I added 100lbs in my 120. I am debating on adding one more bag of sand, so 1 pound per gallon is about right.,
