Barry's 29gal Coralife BioCube

oh crap is this a work thing where I cant see the pics.

Well now didn't I make a arse of myself....

It's weird to me that I can see some pic sites but not others. Oh well. I will look when I get home. I am excited to see it Barry.

Have that same gorg in my tank. It started off as a little one branch piece, its now 4 long branches. I actually had to move it down in my tank as the branches were starting to reach out of the water. Great coral that has some nice movement, and grows fairly fast.

I saw the mother colony in the LFS's DT. He actually cut it right off the colony and gave me instructions on how to get it to encrust onto a rock. It does great in my tank and its probably one of my favorites.

OK Homer please fill me in on the instructions your LFS gave you on
getting it to encrust on a rock.
PLEASE
Thanks Homer,
BArry

Basically mine was fresh cut, so i was told to place it in a hole in a rock for 3 or 4 days until the outside flesh dies off and your left with a hard bony stalk. Then just simply glue that bony piece into the hole. Within a few days it will start to encrust onto the rock.

Thanks Homer for the information. When I got mine it was attached to a frag plug, kinda.
I removed it from the plug and used small amount of reef epoxy putty and wedged it
in a small hole in the rubble. Seems do be doing alright. But its' only been a
couple of weeks.
Thanks again for the information.

As always VERY nice Barry. I like how you take your time and pick wonderful pieces that accent each other in the tank.

Looking good Barry!

Love how your choosing corals that compliment each other instead of just buying what looks cool.
