My SPS tank is now overcrowded with some of my large SPS colonies receding at the base and lower and or shaded sections due to lack of light and decreased flow. I have a much larger tank upgrade in the works so this problem does have a solution. I am wondering if anyone has experience with regrowth of these areas after separating the colonies and giving them more room, flow and light? One colony for instance is my Chips Acro which is tableing nicely. The area that is most shaded from my Red Planet which is tableing above it has lost a couple of the most shaded branches.
