Bass ackwards turbo

So, I just happened to see my turbo on its back, so I flipped him over and went about my business, then he purposefully flipped back over...why

Kk I'll watch for him to kick it, I put him on the rock and he crawled off, idk why but I have trouble with turbos, my water params never give me a reason though, other snails no problem.

i only have one. in my opinion they are not the best snail to have. But its amazing the skill they have climbing rock work....The Bad part is they end up getting behind a rock stuck and Die. Or Tumble your rock and corals over
 
These snails appetites are enormous. If you don't have a significant source of algae they will die. Also they are used to colder waters. If you keep your tank 78 degrees or higher they wont do well. For these two reasons I stick with Trochus snails for my reef.
 
+1 on the Trochus snails. I only have one of these in my 20 gallon tank and I'm surprised it's still alive to tell you the truth. Spotless...

I have very few snails and Crabs in my tank. maybe a hand full of them all together . but there is no sand bed. There are prob more snails in my fuge then i am aware of but they do exist down there where my sand Bed is at.
