Basslet missing

I bought a blackcap basslet today. He looked exzcellent (shape and color wise) when I released him into the tank (after acclimating.) He bolted for a spot under the LR. I moved a couple of pieces and couldn't find him anywhere. Do these guys hide under the sand? Any ideas where he might be? There's no sign of him outsidethe tank. Any tricks to get them to come out? Thx.

Gave him a few days. Mine didn't come out of hiding until the third days. Now he is the bully of the tank.

basslets are notorious for hiding. I don't see mine for days on end. It's somewhere in your lr. Just be patient.

JC I hope you didn't move the live rock - you could trap him if placed back the wrong way. He'll come out - beautiful fish heh. I wonder who designed him? Don't answer - I know the answer my brother.
