Battery Backup

Hi,

I have a battery backup that no longer holds much of a charge. When I switch my MP40wES over to the battery backup, only the very first LED is on, indicating it is almost out of juice. I imagine that the battery may have reached the end of its lifespan - is there a way to replace the actual battery?

I'm sorry to hear about your Battery Backup. That said, we do not recommend replacing the battery alone.

We do not recommend replacing the battery alone. It would be best to purchase a whole new Battery Backup.

The Battery Backup and it's power supply will be slightly warm to the touch, but shouldn't be hot.

Since mfg would call it dead, If you have a batteries plus around, go check them out. I've seen them replace a lot of odd items I'd consider more complicated then the ETM backup battery. Then buy a new ETM backup battery and use one per light/vortech for even better uptime.

There are a lot of posts about replacing the batteries in them, just do a google search and you'll get all the info you need.......if I remember it was like $40 for a new battery.
