Battery Powered Pump?

Anyone close have some extra battery powered pumps I can borrow for the duration of this power outage? (I'm in Rock Hill) I had 4. One died (before). One died during this power outage. So I'm down to two pumps. Seems to be doing the trick, but this is dragging out longer than I'd like.

I'll get a few more, but not in time for this.

Let me know

Thanks

Mark

Hey, go to walmar and buy a car battery. In the same section they have a Power inverter with attachement for car battery. This will provide you one AC power outlet. Plug your main pump into it.

All those years of McGyver really paid off. :-)

I have a 150 watt inverter you can borrow. I'm in Webster (Rock Hill and Kirkham) Plug it into your car and run an extension cord to your tank and it will run anything 150 watts or less.

I'm at work now but hopefully will be home by noon. Now that I think about it, I have it in the car with me and can drop it off on the way - where in Rock Hill are you?

walmart sells a "bubble box" , it takes 2 d batteries. don't know how big your tank is, you may need a couple.

My issue was temprature, but i found for my 120gallon that a ziplock baggie full of ice dropped the temp .1 degree

good luck!
