I know some female reefers but they are far and few between! It's really sad though.

WOW! One of Three females on this board! Shocking!!! Then again...I am the only female I know that has a reef tank, and drives a truck, and loves fishing, diving, camping, shooting, surfing...yeah, I'm not normal. :wildone:

Ok, being obsessed with your tank is something, but most people (men and women) love my tank... its a great conversation piece actually. And the reef tank gets WAY more attention than my 50g fw planted tank on the other side of the room. So I say, reef tanks rock.. just don't make it all ya do in life.

I agree...let it be something you enjoy, but don't let it take over. Most people I know don't want to deal with all the work. Their loss I guess, because I have something really fricken' cool to look at and they dont! :frog: Its a lot of work, but name something you really enjoy that isnt? Most chicks around here are too worried about getting a tan or their nails done. No thanks...you'll find me either out on the boat on a nice day or at a fish place drooling over what I cant yet have.

Female, and my current tank is a 3G pico. I'm about to step it up to a 10Hex pico. I also love African cichlids, large south american predators, s/w predators, and rams, but I just don't have the space for more than those two tanks.
.... and I enjoy just about everything on your list except for the truck driving (don't have a truck, but I enjoy going on off-road-rescues with a friend of mine), surfing (don't know how, but would like to), and shooting (meh, no real interest). Can I make up for that by having a staunch love of zombie flicks and playing with fire (poi, that is)?

Sweet! Another cool chick! Surfing is fun! You live up north, do you snowboard? I've been a few times, LOVED it, but living in south Florida, we don't get too much snow around here. I'm debating on setting up a lil 2.5 gal pico I have, but I'm still undecided. I think it would be a ton more work than my 24 gal! I may throw it together when I put my 105gal together just to see what I can do with it. No fish, just some zoos and a shroom or two. Any pics or a link to your 3 gal pico?
And yeah, fire rocks...Thank God my bf is a firefighter!!
