Battling green star polyps

What is the best way to either eradicate or at least keep these guys in check?

I really enjoy them but they are taking over and creeping about an inch a week in all directions?

I would rather not have a "tank full-o-green star polyps".

Help!!!

keep them on an isolated rock, and have some kind of stinging coral guarding the base of the rock. the coral (perhaps an LPS such as galaxia) will kill any star polyps that come too close, preventing the coral from spreading.
i dont think an anemone will work, i have a flower anemone that often touches my GSP colony with no ill effects.

As armagedon48 says; isolation is the answer. The only other thing I have noticed is the coral has a hard time growing down; laterally or up if there is a point of contact is how it perpetuates.

It actaully is a pretty coral, but you have to be careful where you place it in the tank.

Give it some flow and it will grow CRAZY (of course you need good water Q). I tore off a sheet from my tank side and just gave it away last year, but it has come back!!

The Flow (and Water Q) is probably exactly why this thing is becoming a monster. It is directly in the cross-flow of 3 Koralia 4s.

I guess I will be "fragging" soon.......
