Bayer dipping

Hello Bay area reefers, I would like to get some advice about using the bayer dipping method. I am currently using Revive and Coral Rx. I am pretty new with the hobby. Just want to learn the other methods of dipping. Thanks again.

I first drip/temp acclimate. Then I use 10-12ml of Bayer for every 8oz of fresh tank water. Soak for 7-10 min. Then I soak in fresh tank water for 7-10 min. And then I do one more soak in new tank water for 7-10 again. Rinse well so no left over Bayer gets in DT.

Beware of Bayer dip if you have inverts. I was using it when I first started but I think it killed my shrimp even though I rinsed the frag twice. I switched to CoralRX and while it certainly doesn't get everything it works OK.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll ensure that it will go through the proper rinsing procedure before it gets introduced to the display tank. The main concern I have are the corals already attached to the rocks.
