What is your process for dipping softies, LPS and SPS in Bayer?

What ratio of water to Bayer and how long do you soak AND rinsing process? Is ratio and process same for softies, lps and sos?

Does Bayer expire?

I read online that Bayer switched there recipe. If so, is it better or worse? The Bayer I have is like 10 years old.
